A Different Sun is advertised as a story of African missionaries, but it was juststrange. Both the narrative style and the content itself were oddly hard to grasp. I dont really know what to make of Orrs story here.

Holmes is an excellent storyteller, and Under a Different Sun is an entertaining, engrossing yarn. It mixes mil-scifi with space opera, and tells a quintessentially heroic, human story.
